Why to form a team?

Hello everyone,

My topic is the ethical responsibilities in a team, but today first of all I want to say about why to form a team?

There are 7 reasons for forming a group
Better decisions

  • Decisions are generally more accurate and effective because group and team members contribute different expertise and perspectives.
    • We can learn new thing from each others experience.
Faster response

  • When action is necessary to respond to competition or to solve a problem, small groups and teams can act rapidly.
    • Working in a group maximizes the potential output, and working as an individual is often less proficient.
Increased productivity
  • Because they are often closer to the action and to the customer, team members can see opportunities for improving efficiencies.
  • It is important to form  teams when the task at hand is too large for one person to handle.
Greater “buy-in”
  • Decisions arrived at jointly are usually better received because members are committed  to the solution and more willing to support it.
  • Forming a team with your colleagues or classmates can be a great way to get active and build friendships.
Less resistance to change
  • People who have input into decisions are less hostile, aggressive, and resistant to change.
Improved employee morale
  • Personal satisfaction and job morale increase when teams are successful.
  • Teams are great ways to meet new people that share the same interest that you do.
Reduced risks
  • Responsibility for a decision is diffused, thus carrying less risk for any individual.
  • Teamwork is also the oil that makes the team work and can help teams to overcome obstacles.
These are the reasons for making a team. If you have any idea about other reasons, you can tell me.
